Open Water Diving Course (Basic)
Our diving courses for Open Water or level 1 are at any time of the year, this are courses with the standards and certified by PADI. The full course or Open Water can be finisht within three days (intensive), or on the time the student wishes, depending on the time devote to this activity.
The groups are small; it takes at least two students to start a course at any time or the year. The site or base is Curú Wild Life Refuge, near Paquera, but if you contact us we can quote this training at a locations other than this. This courses are divided in three parts: theory, confine water and open water.
Open Water Course includes (Basic)
* Entrance to the Curú Wild Life Refuge
* Equipment for diving
* 4 Open Water Dives
* Visit to Islas Tortuga
* Book
* PADI Certificaction
* Transportation by boat to the diving sites
* Snacks
The PADI´S eLearning system allows you to start the theory part of the Open Water Diver Course from the confort or your home or office and permform the practical part with us here in the Islas Tortuga.
It is a one-day course for begginners (does not require the person to be certified). You make the trainning on the beach and in confine waters, getting use to the diving gear and learn some skills, then you will be taken to a immersion of about 40 or 45 minutes to a maximum depth or 20 feet (6 meters). Ones finished this course and if you want to continue though the Open Water course, we will recognize this Discovery as part of the Open Water Course, so you pay for the difference.
